Summer Ends but Skateboarding Never Will

Skateboarders showcased their tricks as summer ends during Tribu’s extreme sports challenge at SM Sta. Rosa, Laguna last May 30 to June 3.

With the banner ‘Huling Sigaw sa Tag-Araw,’ the event attracted crowds of people which featured skateboarding, wall climbing and indoor basketball.

Co-sponsored by the Malachi Riders, skateboard competitions were also held every afternoon of the five-day event and culminated on the final day with Jay-R Abu as the champion and Rasheed Al-Rasheed bagging the second place.

Wall climbing competitions took place at the last day, and live performances were given by bands and dance groups in between the contests and at the end of the event.
