What's with the twists and turns of events happening on those ‘reality’ tv shows? Members go out, new strangers come in and there are new love teams once again. Then the world awaits for what will happen for the next couple of days. They stay up late just to be either filled with the satisfaction that their favorite love teams are still together or be totally disappointed that the perfect match are arguing over petty reasons.
Let us consider the fact that they all entered the house as complete strangers. They knew the lives of their co-participants for only a short period of time and thus falling for the opposite sex so easily is such a fast-as-a-spinning bullet spur of emotions. I’m not the conservative type that advocates on lengthy courtships but then let’s just realize that these days, more people are using their eyes and hearts entirely when it comes to falling in love. People forget to be careful and critical when choosing, and so we need not wonder why some relationships end up in a tragic way – literal or not.
With the status of reality shows being a current trend in visual entertainment, I know that more instances of falling in love so easily will still happen. Perhaps, we cannot do anything with regards to these ideologies in the current modern age. I just hope that we would still be updated with the lives of those people outside that ‘reality tv show’ setting.
